Because it is mounted on the outside of your vehicle, it has all the space it needs to securely fasten your scooter while you travel to your destination.

The DRC-Lift is American-made and requires only only two bolts for installation. One bolt for the trailer hitch adapter and the other is for the trailer hitch itself. A wiring harness comes standard and is easy ot install thanks to its built-in relay that plugs right in to your car or van's battery and into the lift itself.

This popular lift comes with a durable aluminum platform that will never rust. When not in use, the DRC-Lift can be adjusted to automatically fold up into a vertical position at the touch of a button, so you can operate your scooter wherever you go without worrying if the platform is the unfortunate target of cars driving by in the parking lot. There is no manual lifting of any kind required when using the power-assisted DRC-Lift!

Limitations:

Carrying Capacity: safely carries 350 lbs.
Hitch Weigh Limit: Most Class III hitches are rated for 500 lbs. Most Class IV hitches are rated for 1000 lbs
Vehicle Hauling Capacity: Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's capacity to carry a load
Will not work with class II or smaller receivers
Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging
